Today’s GT battle is certainly looming as a huge on-track brawl at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
But the fight for the win could actually be settled off the race track and in the pits. Corvette Racing’s Jan Magnussen talked to Michelin Alley before the start of the race to remind us how important the pit work could be when the field is covered by such a small margin.
Magnussen and Antonio Garcia qualified fourth fastest yesterday and will be looking to add to their second and fourth place performances in the opening two rounds of the championship.
