Wet warm-up in Canada
Grey skies and a wet track greeted teams this morning at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the morning warm-up.
Only 12 teams headed out on track for the session with Lucas Luhr topping the times for Muscle Milk Pickett Racing again.
Luhr was also testing his right ankle after twisting it in the under the team’s awning in the paddock yesterday. The German left the paddock yesterday on crutches last night as a precaution.
Other quick men were Martin Plowman in P2 aboard Conquest Racing’s Morgan, Bruno Junqueira’s led PC for RSR Racing and Joerg Bergmeister topped the times in GT for Flying Lizard Motorsports.
Nobody however, was pushing the limits. Luhr’s fastest time was more than 20 seconds slower than the pole time.
The big question today … will it rain? Click here to view the latest weather…
