Welcome to the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans!
Welcome to the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans!
After days, weeks and months of waiting, the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans is ready to go!
Wednesday will see four hours of practice before the first two-hour qualifying session later in the evening. On Thursday, the field is out twice for a pair of two-hour sessions, spread over five hours with a one-hour intermission.
Today’s running will be the first chance to see how and if cars have changed from the Le Mans Test Day held June 3. It will also be the first look at the new Balance of Performance tables’ effect on GTE-Pro. There have been some changes to weight, fuel capacity and boost levels. Aston Martin’s new Vantage AMR has received the biggest changes from the race organizers.
Off-track, the big news that will come out this week will occur at the annual ACO Press Conference, held Friday morning.
