Welcome back old friend
Welcome back old friend
After nearly a year away from the American Le Mans Series blazing a trail in the FIA GT Championship with JRM Racing, David Brabham is back with an old friend.
With a year aboard a Nissan GT-R, Brabham and JRM has switched brands and championships – now running a HPD P1 car in the World Endurance Championship.
For Brabham, it is a homecoming for the popular Aussie. Brabham, Simon Pagenaud and Marino Franchitti finished 2nd at Sebring last year with Highcroft Racing with the previous version of the HPD P1 car which forms the foundation of the new HPD ARX-03a.
Brabham will contest this year’s WEC with Peter Dumbreck and Karun Chandhok but will only be seen in action on US shores at Sebring this year.
At the half way point, Brabham at the JRM squad were fourth overall. The Alley caught up with “Brabs” on the grid prior to the start of the race.
