WEC entries announced
Entries have been confirmed today for the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship with 31 cars confirmed for the full season – the third running the world championship for sportscars.
Porsche will join the fight for overall victories with a two-car team battling a pair of Audis and Toyotas.
A total of nine LM P1 cars will contest the championship, seven in LM P2, seven in GTE-Pro and eight in GTE-Am.
The only American squad scheduled to contest the championship will be Enzo Potolicchio’s 8Star Motorsports who will run a Ferrari in GT-Am.
Canadian Paul Dalla Lana is the nominated driver for the No.98 Aston Martin Racing GT-AM entry.
The American round of the FIA WEC will be staged at Circuit of The Americas on September 20.
