Watkins Glen TCR Review Complete, Michelin Raises Pressures

Based upon additional tire inspections and data analysis from last weekend’s Watkins Glen IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge event, together with simulations of the remaining IMPC tracks, Michelin engineers have raised the minimum cold and minimum hot tire pressures and related cambers for TCR class entries beginning with this weekend’s event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Engineers concluded that a combination of low cold tire pressures, higher tire loading and faster than expected lap times created tire issues for some TCR entries at Watkins Glen.
