Lucas Luhr may be leading the race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, but you would have never guessed that would have been possible after the German left the track last night on crutches.
Luhr left one of the Muscle Milk transporters yesterday but stepped on a piece of metal tubing which supports the team’s awning – badly twisting his ankle.
Despite overnight physotherapy and lots of ice – Luhr was still sore this morning. The Muscle Milk team were forced to switch driver strategies as a result of the injury.
