Two for two for AF Corse
Two for two for AF Corse
For European Ferrari aces, America has been very kind to them in 2011.
The Prancing Horse squad scored the pole at the Twelve Hours of Sebring earlier this season with the older model Ferrari and yesterday repeated the result with Gimmi Bruni behind the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia.
Bruni will race today with ex-Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella and Pierre Kaffer.
With pole in the GT PRO division, AF Corse also scored the pole in the GT AM with 458 of Rui Aquas, Rob Kauffman and Justin Bell.
While BMW has been the boys to watch in this year’s ALMS GT competition, they could only manage second and third fastest in qualifying.
