British ace Darren Turner reports in from Mazda Raceway Laguna after grabbing the pole in GT in qualifying today.
Turner will share the No.007 Aston Martin with Mexican star Adrian Fernandez in tomorrow’s six hour race.
After running a prototype entry for the past couple of years, Aston Martin Racing is returning to its GT roots in 2012 with a full-scale entry in GT contesting the World Endurance Championship and selected rounds of the American Le Mans Series.
The Corvette of Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner will start 2nd tomorrow ahead of the BMW of Joerg Muller and Bill Auberlen.
Turner talked to Michelin Alley to compare the differences between GT racing in Europe and the US.
