Tuesday marked the second of two days of American Le Mans Series promoter test session at the 3.7-mile, 17-turn Sebring International Raceway. All times were unofficial. Four of the five cars fastest in their respective classes race on MICHELIN® tires.

The factory No. 08 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP was fastest on Tuesday with a quick time of 1:46.232 set in the one-hour afternoon session. The ‘French lions’ edged the Aston Martin Racing Lola Aston Martin, the newly-renumbered No. 007 car clocking in at 1:46.557, .325 of a second off the pace.

David Brabham, aboard the Highcroft Racing Honda Performance Development ARX-01c, was fourth quickest overall and first in the LMP2 class with a time of 1:48.318, set in the morning session.

Other class pace-setters in a session where only a handful of cars went out were the Green Earth Team Gunnar entry (LMPC), the No. 62 Risi Competizione Ferrari F430 (GT2), and No. 81 Alex Job Racing Porsche GT3 Cup (GTC). There were four red flag stoppages in the morning session and two in the afternoon.

Among those who did not go out this morning, both Intersport Racing’s LMP1 Lola B06/10 AER and the Robertson Racing Doran Ford GT-R were heavily damaged from Monday testing accidents. Jon Field was released from Highlands Regional Medical Center Monday night, after a severe crash Monday which saw his car get airborne between turns 9 and 10 and barrel-roll several times. The Robertsons hope to be out by Thursday night practice.
