Toyota triumphs in Brazil

Toyota and Michelin secured their first win together today in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Alexander Wurz and Nicolas Lapierre steered the N°7 Toyota TS030 Hybrid to victory at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo ahead of the two Audi R18s.
It was a case of third time lucky for Toyota Racing. After matching the speed of its Audi rivals during the early part of the recent 6 Hours of Silverstone, the Japanese make took advantage of the trip to Brazil to take an emphatic victory.
