The Panoz Abruzzi “Spirit of Le Mans”
Dr. Don Panoz launched his latest supercar last month at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Panoz, the founder of Panoz Auto Development and the American Le Mans Series, unveiled the Abruzzi “Spirit of Le Mans” last month in France. In the above video, Dr. Panoz expands on what went into creating the Abruzzi and the future outlook for the supercar, the street version of which will run on MICHELIN® tires.

Some of the technical highlights include R.E.A.M.S.® – Recyclable Energy Absorbing Matrix System and TRIFECTACOOLING® technology, which is stage two and stage three systems that lower coolant temperature on the inflow and outflow from the radiator.
Only 81 of the technological marvels will be built, to coincide with the number of June classics at Le Mans from the first in 1923 to its 90-year anniversary in 2013.
