#The Classes
The USCR has already announced four classes for 2014 – two Prototype classes and two in GT.
The top Prototype class will combine the current DP and P2 prototype cars, as well as the DeltaWing, while the single specification PC class will continue relatively unchanged.
The current ALMS-based GT class will be designated as GT-Le Mans (GTLM) and continues virtually unchanged. The current GRAND-AM GT class will be designated GT – Daytona and will open up to include FIA GT3 cars with minimal modifications.
#The Tires
The GT-Le Mans class will feature open tire competition. All the other classes will race on Continental tires.
