#The Future – Part II
#The Benchmark Race
Road America is the only venue to host a doubleheader with both series in 2013. This is not coincidental.
Bringing manufacturers, participants and officials of each series together here this week, albeit in separate races, is an important step in the process of unification. The technical data download from this weekend will provide an objective yardstick in establishing the class technical rules and balance of performance measures for 2014.
#The Schedule
Long before the 2014 season begins, competition is underway amongst the 19 venues that currently host ALMS and/or GRAND-AM events, as promoters push to earn one of the expected 12 spots on the 2014 race schedule.
When announced, the inaugural 2014 USCR season is expected to open with the Rolex 24 At Daytona and include the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the Sahlen’s Six Hours at The Glen and Road Atlanta’s Petit Le Mans.
