On Saturday at 3 p.m. local time, the talk and preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans is over. The race goes green for the ultimate test of endurance, efficiency, technology, stamina and speed. Perhaps fitting then that the day before, Friday, is a rest day with an open pit walk and the driver’s parade. Two new galleries from Rick Dole are live in the “Galleries” section in the final bit of build-up before Saturday’s race.
