Marc Marquez’s year of dominance rolled on. He won both in San Marino (recap) and Aragon (recap). With five races to go, the Repsol Honda rider leads the championship by nearly 100 points (300-202) over Andrea Dovizioso. Just nine points separate Alex Rins, Danilo Petrucci and Maverick Viñales for third place (156-155-147). Valentino Rossi sits a further 10 points back of Viñales.

Citroen returned to the top in Turkey, with Sebastien Ogier leading a 1-2 finish over teammate Andreas Mikkelsen (recap). The win was Ogier and Citroen’s first since Mexico back in March. Toyota’s Ott Tanak holds a 17-point lead over Ogier with Thierry Neuville third, 30 points back.
