Corvette Racing’s Johnny O’Connell, one of the most popular and successful drivers in the American Le Mans Series is headed to Greenville for the first ever Motorsports on Main, Thursday, September 23.
A three-time American Le Mans Series champion and four-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, O’Connell leads all American Le Mans Series drivers in career starts (110), wins (38) and podiums (80).
A resident of nearby Flowery Branch, Georgia, he is also an eight–time winner of the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Described by his Corvette Racing teammates as “fast, funny, fearless, and quick with a quip,” O’Connell expects to talk with fans, sign autographs, pose for photos, set times on the Michelin and “Green Racing” simulators, and maybe even join in a tech talk at the big Chevy Performance display on Main Street.
