After a pair of Florida races to restart the 2020 IMSA season, Michelin and IMSA head North to Elkhart Lake’s Road America this weekend.

The headlining IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship has its two-hour, 40-minute race Sunday at noon ET on network NBC.

Mazda and Whelen Cadillac have split the DPi victories at Daytona and Sebring. Corvette Racing (GT Le Mans) and AIM Vasser Sullivan Lexus (GT Daytona) each seek their third successive victories in those classes. PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports won in LMP2 at Sebring.

The IMSA MICHELIN Pilot Challenge (GS and TCR classes) and Prototype Challenge (LMP3) series resumed last time out at Sebring. Winners there included:

  • GS: Tyler McQuarrie, Jeff Westphal, No. 39 CarBahn by Peregrine Audi R8 LMS GT4
  • TCR: Mark Wilkins, Harry Gottsacker, No. 21 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Veloster N TCR
  • LMP3: Scott Andrews, Gerry Kraut, No. 9 JDC Motorsports Norma M30
