The 1965 Sebring-winning Chaparral 2 will turn exhibition laps this weekend celebrating the 50th anniversary of its victory in one of the greatest races in Sebring history.
The Chevrolet-powered prototype driven by Jim Hall and Hap Sharp won the pole and broke the race lap record as they bested the previously dominant Ford and Ferrari entries.
Jim Hall II will drive his father’s car for the exhibition laps and the Chaparral 2 will be on display in the Gallery of Legends in the Paddock.
