Ready to Rock
Ready to Rock
The long Le Mans schedule break is finally over and the ALMS teams and drivers are ready for practice later this morning here at Lime Rock Park.
The weather is clear, sunny, and moderately hot with temperatures in the high 80s expected at the 1.54-mile circuit here in the western corner of Connecticut.
Teams like Corvette Racing, BMW Team RLL, Muscle Milk Pickett Honda and CORE that started the season strong are anxious to continue their momentum.
For Dyson Racing, all three Porsche teams, and several others, the break provided a welcomed opportunity to regroup, test and restart as the season heads into a busy stretch.
Lime Rock, Canadian Tire Mosport Park, Mid-Ohio, Wisconsin’s Road America, Baltimore, and a first visit to Virginia International Raceway are all on the ALMS dance card in the next nine weeks.
