We’re ready to roll at Sebring. The opening session for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring is just minutes away – kicking off round two of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

All teams will have three sessions on track today at 10:15am, 2:25pm and 7:15pm for the night session.

Qualifying takes place tomorrow afternoon before Saturday’s 12 hour battle kicks off at 10:40am.

Porsche’s Richard Lietz is just one of 148 drivers entered for this year’s 63rd running of the endurance classic who is eagerly awaiting to hit the track today.

“It is special to drive at a track like Sebring,” Porsche’s Richard Lietz said.

“As a driver, I love Sebring but, of course, you need some luck too. Twelve hours is a long race and because of the characteristic of the track it’s harder than Le Mans for the car. If a car can finish Sebring, it’s ready for Le Mans.

“The most important aspect of preparation for twelve hours around Sebring is not to be tired before the race starts. I think the longer the race the better it is for us at Porsche North America. The most important thing is to have a strong and reliable car and we have that in the Porsche 911 RSR.”
