Ready to roar at Daytona
The battle of the brands in the GTLM class in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is set to resume tomorrow as the annual Roar before the 24 test kicks off at Daytona International Speedway.
Series champs Corvette, Le Mans winners Ford plus BMW, Ferrari and Porsche have arrived ready to kick off what should be an even more intense battle.
The stakes have been raised in 2017 with Ford arriving with not only it’s two IMSA machines but also sending its two FIA WEC entires for a four car assault.
Porsche’s hopes rest on a their new car which feature a mid-engine design for the first time.
