Race for Green
Race for Green
While the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing Honda team has clinched the 2012 MICHELIN® GREEN X® Challenge Prototype championship honors, the battle for the MICHELIN® GREEN X® Challenge championship is especially tight in the GT category where the #3 Corvette of Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia hold a one-point lead over the #55 BMW of Jörg Müller and Bill Auberlen with the #4 Corvette of Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner just another five-points adrift.
Lurking just 13-points further back is the #01 Extreme Speed Ferrari of Johannes van Overbeek and Scott Sharp. A win here at Petit Le Mans is worth 24 points, with second 20 and third 17.
The results are based upon a formula developed by the Green Racing steering team to recognize Clean, Fast and Efficient performance at every ALMS race.
