Coming into the ALMS for any new team can be a daunting experience, let alone one team jumping into the most hotly contested class in the series. But Extreme Speed Motorsports Ferrari has done just that in 2010 and while the results don’t immediately pop out, this is a team clearly on the rise after making steady strides at each event.
The team has several fifth place finishes on the board, two front row starts courtesy of the underrated Johannes van Overbeek, and its first win in the MICHELIN® GREEN X® Challenge with Guy Cosmo and Ed Brown at Utah. Armed with two ace third drivers for Petit Le Mans, a first podium finish for Scott Sharp’s ESM Ferrari squad is definitely within reach.
