No. 6: Klaus Graf, Sascha Maassen, Lucas Luhr
It was at Petit Le Mans last year where Klaus Graf put in some spectacular times in the Porsche RS Spyder against the diesel powerhouses from Audi and Peugeot. A year later, Graf is back, still with a chance to win the championship in LMP and two new co-drivers.
The German trails the Highcroft HPD duo of David Brabham and Simon Pagenaud by 16 points. Graf finished second at Road America with Timo Bernhard and won last race at Mosport with Romain Dumas. This race, it’s Graf, the team’s usual third driver Sascha Maassen (two starts in 2010) and Lucas Luhr, who makes his first ALMS start of 2010. Luhr is a former ALMS champion in both prototypes and GTs, including with Maassen in 2006, the first full season of the Porsche RS Spyder.
