OUCH!
OUCH!
The Saturday morning Mosport practice session has been brought to a premature end as the Muscle Milk Aston Martin of Klaus Graf spun in turn 10 and sustained substantial damage to the right side and rear of the car.
The session has ended while track workers complete repair to the tire wall.
Graf’s co-driver Lucas Luhr had set the quickest time of the session at 1:10.19 followed by Steven Kane in the #20 Dyson Mazda at 1:10.98.
Kyle Marcelli and Gunnar Jeannette were 1-2 in the LMPC category.
BMW’s Joey Hand led the tight GT session ahead of the Flying Lizard Porsche of Joerg Bergmister. They were closely followed by BMW’s Bill Auberlen; Risi Competizione Ferrari’s Jaime Melo, and Extreme Speed Ferrari’s Johannes van Overbeek. The top five GT cars were within 0.26 seconds when the session ended.
There is one more practice session before this afternoon’s qualifying.
