DeltaWing secures Nissan deal

Nissan was confirmed as the powerplant for the Michelin-equipped DeltaWing sportscar that will debut at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The partnership was announced today in London with designer Ben Bowlby; Managing Partner Don Panoz and Highcroft Racing team boss Duncan Dayton on site.
The car hit the track for the first time last week with Marino Franchitti behind the wheel.
The Nissan 1.6 liter turbocharged car will hit the track in Sebring tomorrow at 12:30pm for its first public US run.
Michelin was announced as the DeltaWing’s first technical partner last year at Petit Le Mans.
