Muscle Milk men dominate Mid-Ohio testing
Muscle Milk Pickett Racing have dominated the past four American Le Mans Series races and judging from their pace in testing at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course today, they could be in line to extend that winning streak.
Despite concentrating on longer runs aboard their HPD P1 machine, Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf still dominated the session to be more than 2.8 seconds faster than their nearest opposition.
Other quick teams today included Level 5 Motorsport in P2 and PR1 Mathieson Motorsports in PC with Marino Franchitti setting the pace alongside the equally swift Rudy Junco.
Last round winners Extreme Speed Motorsports showed their pace in Canada in GT was no fluke by topping the timesheets with a flying lap from Johannes van Overbeek at the end of the session.
Michelin Alley caught up with Klaus Graf after today’s test to get his thoughts on the progress for the Muscle Milk team.
