Muscle Milk fastest in opening practice
Klaus Graf and Muscle Milk Pickett Racing topped the time sheets in the opening practice at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park this morning.
Graf stopped the clocks at 1 minute, 7.124 seconds for the challenging 2.5 mile road course. Last year The Muscle Milk guys started from pole with a time of 1:06.486.
Mike Conway continues to adapt well on his ALMS debut in Canada – topping the P2 times for Level 5 Motorsport aboard their HPD Honda. This year’s winner of the opening race of the IndyCar Detroit double header was also fastest in testing yesterday.
Antonio Garcia was fastest for Corvette Racing in the GT ranks. Corvette actually was 1-2 for much of the session before Joey Hand put his BMW into second late in the session.
Hand returns to ALMS action after missing the last round at Lime Rock Park while on DTM duty in Europe.
Cars are back on track at 2:20pm this afternoon for another 60 minute practice session. Qualifying kicks off at 3:30pm.
