Muscle Milk dominant in Long Beach
April 15, 2012
After finishing a close second in the past seasons of American Le Mans Series competition, the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing squad today proved they will be a force to be reckoned with.
A late full system problem robbed the team of victory at Sebring, but Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf combined to take a dominant win on the streets of Long Beach – their second consecutive win here.
Armed with the latest generation of the ultra-successful Michelin “street soft” race tires helped the Muscle Milk HPD Honda prototype of Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf overcome an extra pit stop and power to a 43.66 second victory over the Dyson Racing Mazda of Chris Dyson and Guy Smith in the second round of the 2012 ALMS championship.
