Mowlem tops times for Dyson at VIR
Dyson Racing and returnee Johnny Mowlem topped the timesheets in today’s two hour test session at Virginia International Raceway in preparation for this weekend’s Oak Tree Grand Prix.
Mowlem set the fastest lap of the day today at 1:40.213 aboard the Dyson Racing Lola he is sharing with fellow Brit, Guy Smith.
The Muscle Milk Pickett Racing squad didn’t take part in today’s session – leaving the Dyson team to hold a 1.33 second lead over the leading P2 car of Johannes van Overbeek.
The ESM HPD driver today continued to prove how well he has adapted to prototype machinery after years aboard GT cars.
