• The fastest GT lap of the race was set by Patrick Long aboard the #45 Flying Lizard Porsche at 1:20.778.
• At an 80.77-second race lap, one percent equals 0.807 seconds. The top eight cars were within 0.630 seconds or 0.774 percent.
• The gap from fastest race lap (#45 FLM Porsche) to fifth (#02 ESM Ferrari) was 0.179 seconds or just 0.120 percent.
• The top (#45) Porsche lap and top (#3) Corvette lap were separated by 0.036 seconds or 0.045 percent.
• The difference between the #44 FLM Porsche and race winning #4 Corvette best laps was 0.001 second. On the 2.258 mile Mid-Ohio circuit that works out to approximately 1.769 inches.

Standing Tall:
The new Michelin tall front tires appear to have helped as the Flying Lizard Porsche, Corvette Racing and ESM Ferrari teams set the top six GT lap times.
