Michelin Tech Tips: Lime Rock and Road America
Michelin Tech Tips: Lime Rock and Road America
Lime Rock Park and Road America represent polar opposites of the IMSA schedule: the shortest and longest tracks of the year, respectively.
But Michelin has excelled with great performance and more records set at both events.
Here are the latest Michelin Tire Tech Tip Minutes on the NBC Sports broadcasts from Lime Rock and Road America.

At Lime Rock, Brian Till describes how the nearly all-right-hand corner track makes for high lap count stints and a greater amount of load for left-side tires.

And at Road America, Jon Beekhuis notes how much more mileage has been achieved this year at each event, and how rolling resistance has been a big part of the performance gains.
With qualifying and race records set in DPi, GTLM, GTD and IMSA MICHELIN Pilot Challenge GS and TCR classes at Road America, it takes Michelin’s record-setting year to north of 60 new marks in its three series year-on-year over 2018.
