Held annually near Le Mans, France, The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world’s premier endurance sportscar race.
The first Le Mans race was held in 1923. The race was won by André Lagache and René Léonard of France driving a Chenard et Walcker Sport fitted with Michelin tires.
