While Muscle Milk Racing is charging away at the front of the pack in the P1 class, former IndyCar/CART ace Memo Gidley is also helping the team make its mark in the PC class.

Gidley is driving on a full-time basis with Mike Guasch in the 2012 American Le Mans Series championship in the No.5 Muscle Milk entry.

They are joined by this weekend by Brit Archie Hamilton.

Gidley finished second behind Max Papis here at Laguna Seca in 2001 while driving for Chip Ganassi. He was joined on the podium by Gil de Ferran.

The No.5 Muscle Milk PC class car is sitting third in the points standing after the first two races and Gidley is hopeful of another strong result on home soil this weekend.
