The Lizards Leap
Mired in the eighth spot after Friday testing, the defending ALMS GT champion Flying Lizard Porsche of Joerg Bergmeister and Patrick Long leapt to the top of the timesheet in Saturday morning practice.
Second was the #62 Risi Competizione Ferrari of Gimmi Bruni and Jaime Melo, followed by the #4 of Corvette Racing’s Oliver Gavin and Jan Magnussen.
The #92 Rahal Letterman BMW of Bill Auberlen and Tommy Milner improved to fourth after finishing in the ninth spot on Friday. The #3 Corvette of Johnny O’Connell and Olivier Beretta was fifth leading the #02 Extreme Speed Ferrari of Guy Cosmo and Ed Brown.
