Ligier’s leap to the front at Sebring

The Ligier P2-style prototypes set the pace in the second session at Sebring today with Nissan factory LM P1 star Olivier Pla topping the times for Krohn Racing.
Pla stopped the clocks at 1:52.731 – ahead of Oz Negri in he Honda-powered version who was .8 of a second slower.
Christian Fittipaldi was the fastest Daytona Prototype in third place ahead of Joey Hand’s Ganassi Racing Ford entry.
BMW were again fast in GTLM with John Edwards at the front – this time the black No.24 machine was the one to catch. Porsche’s Richard Lietz was second fastest ahad of Antonio Garcia’s Corvette.
Tom Kimber-Smith topped the PC class while Andrew Davis was the man to catch in GTD aboard the No.22 Porsche.
Next up is night practice which kicks off at 7:15pm.
