Muscle Milk Pickett Racing usually hold their firepower in pre-event testing but the German duo of Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr did hit the track at Road America today.
The California-based team holds a handy points lead and is now leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to clinch their first American Le Mans Series crown with four races remaining.
The combo were fast today – leading today’s practice session by 1.54 seconds.
Other fast men this afternoon included Martin Plowman and David Heinemeier Hansson for Conquest Racing in P2 and last start PC class winners, Marino Franchitti and Rudy Junco for PR1 Mathieson Motorsports.
Flying Lizard Motorsports continued their strong recent GT form by finished 1st (Joerg Bergmeister and Patrick Long) and 3rd (Marco Holzer and Seth Neiman) in testing today – sandwiching the No.4 championship leading Corvette of Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner.
Official practice and qualifying will be held tomorrow.
