The No.02 Daytona Prototype of Chip Ganassi Racing has been plagued with brake problems throughout the Rolex 24 and now NASCAR ace Kyle Larson is the latest to suffer the consquences.
Last year’s winning combo of Larson, Tony Kanaan, Scott Dixon and Jamie McMurray will not return to victory lane in 2016. The No.02 car has been taken back to the paddock on a flat bed truck and the team is working on repairing the damage.
The No.01 Ganassi entries continues to run but it three laps down on the leader with about two hours of the race remaining.
