Rebellion Racing continues to lead the field after 150 laps of racing at Road Atlanta
The ALMS championship leading, Muscle Milk Pickett Racing Honda returned to the action after an hour in the garage and sits in third place in the P1 class. The team is focusing on finishing 70% of the race in order to clinch the championship.
Its championship rivals from Dyson Racing have encountered electrical problems and are falling behind the Muscle Milk car in the race order.
The GT class battle continues to impress as Extreme Speed Ferrari’s #01, Corvette Racing’s #4 and SRT Viper’s #91have all led at one point. Currently, the ESM #01 driven by Toni Vilander leads the field as the race nears the half-way mark.
Level 5 Motorsports #055 with Dario Franchitti leads the P2 class just ahead of Conquest Endurance #37, while in the PC class, the lead is held by CORE autosport’s #06 driven by Ryan Dalziel.
The Nissan DeltaWing currently runs sixth and was as high as fifth overall during the third-hour of the race.
