Kuno on home soil
Kuno on home soil
Ron Fellows was the crowd favorite at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for many years but the local fans have a new local star to cheer for this weekend – another top star in the GT ranks.
Kuno Wittmer is making his second ALMS start on home soil this weekend for the SRT Viper squad.
The Canadian made his name aboard Vipers in World Challenge and when it came to selecting drivers to fill the factory seats last year, Wittmer was an obvious choice.
He is under increased pressure this weekend however thanks to Michelin Alley.
In the four covers published for the opening four races of the 2013 – the car on the cover has won the race. Guess who is on the cover this weekend in Canada – non other than Wittmer and teammate Jonathan Bomarito.
The Viper has shown promising pace so far in testing – turning that pace into a win tomorrow will really give the fans something to cheer for.
