Kristensen tops night practice
Audi’s Tom Kristensen topped the timesheet in night practice at Sebring International Raceway this evening as teams went through their pre-qualifying preparations for this year’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
Kristensen was only .026 of a second faster than teammate Benoit Treluyer with ALMS regular Klaus Graf third fastest aboard the HPD Muscle Milk entry.
Level 5 Motorsport set the pace in P2 with the IndyCar “Ryans” setting the times – Ryan Briscoe in the No.551 car and Ryan Hunter-Reay in the No.552 HPD.
David Brabham was third fastest in the No.01 Extreme Speed Motorsports HPD.
Corvette continued to show strong pace in GT with Oliver Gavin and Jordan Taylor putting the No.4 and No.3 entries 1-2 ahead of the Risi Competizione Ferrari with young star Matteo Malucelli at the wheel.
Aston Martin Racing were fourth and fifth fastest.
Teams will do battle in the final practice session tomorrow morning at 9:20am before qualifying kicks off at 1:15pm for GTC followed by GT, LMPC, and LMP1/LMP2.
