Muscle Milk Motorsports debuted their new HPD LMP1 machine on Sebring at the ALMS Winter Test and immediately went to the top of the timesheets.
Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr return for their second full season together with Honda favorite and 2010 ALMS LMP champ Simon Pagenaud joining the team for Sebring.
But it was team boss Greg Pickett who had the first opportunity of “breaking in” the car. While he won’t class himself as “retired”, Pickett doesn’t intend to get back behind the wheel of LMP1 machinery in race conditions.
However, he obviously had fun out there – the Graf, Luhr and Pagenaud had to wait patiently while the “shakedown” went for a few laps longer than anticipated.
