American Le Mans Series BMW ace Joey Hand is a busy boy in 2012 – doing battle again in ALMS competition as well as running for the championship in the German DTM series.
Hand becomes the first American to drive in the championship this year with BMW returning to do battle with fellow German marques Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
His championship win last season in the ALMS showed he had the talent and a very successful off-season test sealed the deal for the Californian.
Hand has been a busy boy since Long Beach, competing at Hockenheim and the Lausitzring in German.
Michelin Alley talked to Hand today and asked him what it was like to switch cars, countries and series from week to week.
