The 168 drivers in the starting line-up for the 24 Hour race hail from 30 different countries.
Audi’s defending champions; Andre Lotterer of Germany, Marcel Fassler of Switzerland and Benoit Treluyer of France provide a sense of the international flavor of the event.
European drivers hail from Denmark, Great Britain, Spain, Austria, Russia, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Ireland, and Monaco.
The U.S., Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela and Brazil are all represented, so are China, India, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.
Interestingly, there are 11 drivers from Italy entered, but none in the huge 22 car P2 field.
English and French are the official languages of the event.
