Twice the defending ALMS prototype class champions, Highcroft Racing opens its 2011 account with a highly revised version of the successful HPD ARX-01, now dubbed the 01e. The newest iteration comes with a substantially updated suspension and aerodynamic package built by HPD partner Wirth Research.
The stars in the car, David Brabham, Simon Pagenaud and defending Sebring P2 class polesitter Marino Franchitti, will have a new “co-driver” riding with them – the Michelin Man. Branding of the Michelin Man and the new MICHELIN® Pilot® Super Sport tire will feature prominently on the black, white and blue car. For all the team’s success, a win at Sebring has so far eluded Duncan Dayton’s squad in four previous attempts, and they will be looking for their first in their fifth this Saturday.
