Gunnar Jeannette returns to Greenville
American Le Mans Series ace Gunnar Jeannette returned to Motorsports on Main today – making his second visit to the event after being one of the special guest drivers in 2010.
Jeannette enters next week’s final round of the ALMS championship at Petit Le Mans only a handful of points behind Genoa Racing’s Eric Lux in the battle for the LMPC class championship.
A 10 year veteran of the series, Jeannette drives for CORE autosport alongside Mexican ace Ricardo Gonzalez. A championship winning performance for the team at Petit Le Mans will also hand the team’s championship to CORE – a new team for 2011 actually based in South Carolina in Rock Hill.
