The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course provided one of the wildest GT races ever seen in the American Le Mans Series, Porsche fighting back to victory today after BMW, Corvette and Ferrari all had their chances of victory slip away.
The No. 17 Porsche of Wolf Henzler and Bryan Sellars took the first win for the Derrick Walker-led squad – Henzler able to make several late race wet weather passes to take the win.
The victory was the first for both Sellars and Walker in the American Le Mans Series.
Corvette Racing duo Oliver Gavin and Jan Magnussen finished second – backing up with a strong result after winning at Mosport.
BMW’s Bill Auberlen and Dirk Werner took the final podium spot.
