With 90 minutes to go at the Road Race Showcase at Road America, the battle for GT supremacy is looking set to for a barnstorming finish.

Magnussen also set the lap record while trying to chase down the leading Porsche – dropping the mark to 2:05.882.
Chris Dyson continued to lead overall with Muscle Milk’s Lucas Luhr working hard on getting their laps back after an early lengthy pit stop. Luhr remained 1 lap adrift heading into the final quarter of the race. With 84 mins to go – Dyson pitted to swap to Guy Smith – handing the overall lead temporarily to Martin Plowman who was now at the wheel of the Conquest Racing P2 leading entry.
In the PC class, CORE autosport held the upper hand after the second round of stops – leap frogging the RSR Racing machine to go 1-2. Recent Le Mans 24 Hour P2 winner Tom Kimber-Smith headed Colin Braun.
