Green Means FAST in MICHELIN® GREEN X® Challenge
Green Means FAST in MICHELIN® GREEN X® Challenge
Do you think that Clean cars and Fast cars are mutually exclusive? As the American Le Mans Series heads to Virginia International Raceway this weekend for the ninth stop of the ten race 2013 season, the MICHELIN® GREEN X® Challenge, America’s premier motorsports environmental competition, presents a far different conclusion.
Consider, with seven consecutive race wins, the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing Honda team has already clinched both the 2013 American Le Mans Series P1 Prototype championship and the MICHELIN GREEN X Challenge season Prototype championship.
Or this, the 2013 ALMS GT championship leading #3 Chevrolet Corvette is currently leading both the ALMS championship and the MICHELIN GREEN X Challenge GT standings.
In fact, the top four cars in the ALMS GT championship, the #3 Corvette Racing, the #56 from BMW Team RLL, the #4 Corvette Racing and the #91 SRT Viper hold the exact same order in the MICHELIN GREEN X Challenge.
Both the Muscle Milk Honda and the #3 Corvette won their respective classes and the MICHELIN GREEN X Challenge honors at the most recent event at Austin’s Circuit of The Americas, marking the 40th time in 90 races that the on track class winners also captured a MICHELIN GREEN X Challenge award.
